Data & privacy
Zeroph Sentinel runs entirely within Atlassian's cloud platform. No data is sent to external servers. All findings, configuration, and scan state are stored securely by Atlassian as part of their cloud infrastructure.
Background operations like scheduled scans and real-time detection run with the app's own permissions. When you view findings, the app checks your Atlassian account permissions before displaying any content — if you don't have access to a Confluence page or Jira issue, the app won't show you its title, matched value, or surrounding text. This ensures the app always respects your existing Confluence and Jira permission schemes.
Required permissions
The app requires the following permissions:
- Read Confluence content to scan pages and verify user access.
- Read Jira issues to scan issue fields and comments and verify user access.
- App storage to persist findings, configuration, and scan state.
